Mulch King Garden Mix is a rich, all-purpose soil blend designed to give your plants the nutrients they need to thrive.
Mulch King Garden Mix is a blend of recycled products. This is unscreened but nice, loose mix.
Great for bulking up your garden, maybe add some rich compost if needed.
Also used for leveling lawns, and some people use it for lawn mix instead of topsoil.
Ideal for vegetable gardens, flower beds, and landscape projects.
Mulch King Garden Mix ingredients
12 month aged arborist mulch
Arborist mulch contains lots of organic matter and also contains fines, chips, and strands.
This is the base material and will continue to compost as it breaks down.
Use potting mix, ex-nursery
This is recycled after use from repotting or replacing the mix.
May contain some plant and root stock.
Dung beetle breeding mix
This is a granulated clay loam and number two sand mix used in the Dung Beetle breeding program.
Dung Beetles are the future of cleaning up New Zealand dairy farms, by burying the cow pats down to 500mm below ground.
In the breeding bins, they are fed fresh cow manure daily. The Dung Beetles bury this and create a breeding habitat for their young. This cow dung remains in the mix, which is disposed of each breeding cycle.
Well mixed before delivery, this product is easy to handle, shovel, and rake.
No chemicals, only natural products, and has a great drainage structure.
Available during Summer months only.
