The best natural product you can add to your garden is recycled trees and plants, in the form of arborist mulch.
This product is sourced from unwanted trees, hedges, shelterbelts, and site clearing. The trees are sent through a large commercial chipper and processed into small chips, fines and strands.
Sometimes the arborists are cutting hedges which produce only leaf material, other times large trees producing clean chip and strands.
If you choose green mulch straight from the arborist’s truck, you are limited to what they have on board. It may seem a cheaper option, but it will not necessarily produce the best result.
Arborist mulch
